I’ve basically always had long hair. (Well, except when I was six and my Mom chopped it into a “bowl” cut. My first grade photos were certainly no glamour shot.) Anyone with long hair can attest that it takes work to keep it healthy and pretty, which is why having a salon and stylist you love and trust comes into play. I will be honest; I don’t get my hair cut as often as I should. And yes, I sometimes brush it when it’s wet. And yes, I tease it. But I know even with all my bad hair habits, the Frederc Fekkai salon can transform it in one hour and it looks like it’s never seen a split end.
I actually wrote a blog post a while back about my love affair with Fekkai in Highland Park Village. Creative Director and native of Cannes, France, Julien Sabatier, has been sculpting my hair for the past year and half, and I can’t begin to tell you how my hair has changed. When I began going to Fekkai, my hair felt like straw from too much product, heat tools, and lots of harsh brushing. From my first cut with Julien, to adpoting the Fekkai products as my hair products of choice, my hair has looked and felt different. Better. Beautiful.
After my experiences at Fekkai, I know more than ever that waking up to hair you love every day is worth investing time and money on. Wouldn’t you agree? Here’s to loving your hair in the new year!
