You’re never too old to go to the playground for a little fun. Well, unless you’re a creepy old man with a windowless van.
Today’s post is all about casual style, whether you’re at the playground or running errands. I like to dress up, but when the weekend comes and I’m not shooting anything, I like to be as casual as possible. Outfits that require little thinking and are easy to throw on and go are the ideal. There is, however, a difference between casual and thrown together.
When celebrities are photographed going to the grocery store in casual clothes, we respect them for dressing normally-IF they have on something simple and cute. We berate them and start to wonder if they are abusing prescription drugs when they look thrown together. And if that’s what WE are thinking about celebs, then it’s not a stretch to think that’s what observers may be thinking about us. So let’s keep it casual AND cute out there. You never know when you’ll run into the paparazzi at the grocery store. Or just an ex-boyfriend.
But either way, if it’s cute….you’ll feel better.
