Black Dress: Lion & Witch / Ellie’s Sparkles Stone Bangle / Ellie’s Sparkles Monogram Bangle / Ricochet Suede Fringe Handbag / Louboutin Leopard Heels / Edge Beauty Lipstick (Fierce) and Iconic Bronzer / Gold Bar Ring / Ona Chan Daggar Collar
Black is beautiful every season of the year, so this dress (from Lion & Witch) is a fun twist on a classic wardrobe staple. The gold stitching is a little edgier than your basic LBD, and it goes like a hand and glove with this black suede fringe bag with gold stitched handles from Ricochet. The bag is roomy, has handles and a shoulder strap, and the interior is a silky animal print that is just gorgeous! You can order one by contacting Ricochet on their Facebook or Instagram and asking about the bag…they are still working on their website and have an upcoming store grand opening, but you can order their goodies right now.
With gold stitching goes gold accessories, so I couldn’t wait to pair it with these outrageously cute bangle bracelets from Ellie’s Sparkles. How great do they look stacked? I love layering my wrists, and these are thin and delicate enough that you can stack five or six if you really want to go bold. The bangles are super affordable (around $20-$50), and come in gorgeous materials like sea glass, agate, crystal, jasper, leather….the list goes on and on. I love the dainty monogram script on the gold discs. This bangle would be a sweet personalized gift for Christmas, bridesmaid gift, wedding present, or any occasion where a monogram would touch someone’s heart. I only wish we’d had these when I was a sorority girl…I would have loved wearing my sorority letters on a bracelet like this. (I can’t wait to share the awesome leather monogram bangle I just got, too!)
In case you’re wondering where this geometric necklace came from, it’s another winner from Ona Chan’s collection. You’ve seen me wear her Malachite Ring over and over and over, and I’ve gotten attached to her unique Daggar Collar as well. It’s always great to have a conversation piece around your neck!
Last, but not least, I have to point out the pretty lip color and bronzer I have on in these pics. They are by Edge Beauty, which you can find at Dillard’s. The lipstick is called Fierce, a dark wine shade for fall. (Doesn’t the name immediately make you think of Tyra Banks?) The lipstick case it comes in is really pretty, which is another great bonus. It’s moisturizing and lasted all afternoon through lots of chit chat. I’m a naturally pale chick, so this Iconic Bronzer ($22) is a nice warm shade to give my skin some life. I love the highlight color as well…perfect for contouring!
Black and gold are timeless; it’s all in how you mix things up.
