I’m super excited about today’s blog post because I get to share two of my current favorites! First up, this gorgeous Kimono from Charity Wraps (c/o). It’s incredibly soft and lightweight-you basically feel like you’re on vacation as soon as you put it on. It’s super cute paired with your favorite pair of shorts or jeans, or it works thrown over your bathing suit as a chic cover-up. This is truly the most “no-brainer” look I can think of for summer! I paired mine with a simple black tee and my Gap denim skirt-absolutely perfect for vacation and easily packed in a suitcase. Here’s another good thing about purchasing one: any of The Charity Wrap items will help any of the following non-profits: Hydrocephalus Association, Save the Children, Mercy for Animals or The Mobile Closet (which helps victims of natural disasters).
Here’s my struggle with sweaters, kimonos, and blouses that are too low-cut….I sometimes need a way to keep them closed that doesn’t include an ugly safety pin. When I was given the chance to try Maggie’s Fashion Magnets (c/o), I fell in love instantly. EVERY woman or man needs these. I used the ball and ring to close my kimono; no buttons, clasps, or hooks needed! I also tore the side of my skirt recently, and I used these same magnets to mend the tear and keep it closed until I could take it to the tailor to be re-sewn. This an awesome gift…I’m thinking stocking stuffers this year for the holiday, or a useful gift for a grad, professional, or someone starting a new job. If you have a halter top, tube top, scarft wrap…these are very useful. I highly recommend having a couple on hand.
Hope these two finds help you out this summer! Have a wonderful Monday.
