There is nothing more comfortable than a cashmere sweater or poncho. (Well, except maybe sweatpants.) I try to invest in at least one or two new cashmere pieces each winter because they get lots of wear, look polished, and keep me incredibly warm.
I received this cashmere poncho for Christmas, and it’s quickly become my airplane outfit when traveling. It’s super lightweight, but it’s like wearing a warm blanket when it gets chilly on the flight. It’s soft; soft enough that I want to cuddle with myself. There, I said it.
The best thing about this look is that it requires zero planning. Black leggings, tall boots, poncho. Done!
I like to add an interest piece or two to my simple looks, so this monogram choker from Miriam Merenfeld Jewelry was my first choice. I already love monograms, but Miriam Merenfeld does personalized jewelry better than anyone I know. Her line has been one of my absolute favorites for years, and the fact that she carries chokers now makes me love her even more! Chokers aren’t just for teenagers or the super trendy. This one in particular looks classic and sophisticated. (Plus, you can remove the letter and just wear the silver choker alone, too!) Miriam Merenfeld Jewelry is an awesome place to start looking for sweet Valentine’s Day gifts, so get on it…!
Have you tried Argan Oil yet? Actually Organic makes the best one I’ve tried. (And trust me, I’ve tried several.) Some are far too greasy and don’t absorb well. This one goes on smoothly and doesn’t feel sticky afterwards. The main reason I started to use this on my face is because I’ve been using Retin-A, and it dries out my skin something awful. Regular moisturizers weren’t working. But when I started using this Actually Organic Argan Oil, that all changed. Here’s what else I love: no bad odor. No preservatives. No chemicals. No other oils mixed in. No fragrances to cover up poor quality. It’s also cold pressed and hasn’t been processed with heat. Basically, it’s the most authentic argan oil I’ve ever come across. It’s under $25, and a little goes a loooong way. I now use it on my face, hands, and neck on a regular basis.
I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend!
