I don’t get to “dress down” very often, but lately, but when I do, it has to be easy to throw on. I love the days when I can be totally unfussy and comfortable. With summer heat already starting to sneak in, I’ve been adding a few cute shirts to my closet that will also keep me cool. This printed cold-shoulder blouse from SuperDry (c/o) reminds me of summers in college when I lived in soft cotton tanks and denim. Isn’t it cute? It’s a little Coachella and a little tribal, and it goes great with denim! You can get one like it here….perfect for outdoor festivals, summer days at the beach, or just relaxing at home with friends.
I’m back with two beauty recommendations this week for getting rid of dark circles. The first is the Korres Black Pine 3D Sculpting, Firming & Lifting Super Eye Serum (c/o)-my new weapon for combating dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles, and puffiness. dark circles under my eyes. Ever get any of those? Whether it’s lack of sleep or pesky allergies causing puffiness and dark circles, they make you look older and certainly more exhausted. I’ve developed dark circles the longer I’ve worked on an early morning new show, so a regular concealer was no longer doing it for me. No sleep + a lot of sodium in my diet always = puffiness. Soooo…enter my hero serum! The serum is inside a dosage-control pen, so you get just the right amount on your skin.
This serum isn’t bad for you, either…it’s vegan, with 95% natural ingredients. One of those is the potent Black Pine extract from trees in the Mediterranean (and these trees even survived the ice age!) It does make eyes less puffy, and it fills in lines like nobody’s business! The dark circles minimized, too. I still like to have a little extra help with camouflaging my under eye area.
I stumbled across SkinFood, and they make a dark circle cream concealer (c/o). It’s made with salmon roe extract to brighten and correct dark circles…which, I’m here to tenll you, WORKS. This stuff is like magic in a jar. The first day I used it, I was asked why I looked so awake. The concealer has a bit of a highlighter effect, making under-eyes look amazing! If you need something a bit stronger than your usual concealer but don’t want something to heavy or cakey, THIS is the stuff. You can thank me later!
