I love a good deal. Almost as much as I love Halloween candy. So when I found out this super cute dress was on sale for a mere $37.50, I just about dropped every Mr. Goodbar mini and box of Dots and headed straight to get it. However, I somehow managed to force a few more candies in my mouth.
A good work dress is an investment that always pays off. And when it doesn’t involve a HUGE investment, even better. These colors are unexpected and fresh, and the collar detail is just plain cute. Imagine this dress with a pretty pair of tall boots, a navy or camel winter coat, and a beautiful scarf or hat! Plus, it’s lightweight enough to wear through the springtime, so technically that cuts the price in half again right there. (Ah, shopper’s math.)
Worth noting: if you decide to order this lovely piece, be aware that it is a little more sheer than it first appears. You can rock Spanx, tights, nylons, or an old-school slip underneath, but for the courtesy of small children and men with a wandering eye, please wear something. And then enjoy the fantastic compliments you will get from strangers on how smashing the dress is!
Agnelia Color Block Knit Dress: Aftershock London (fits a bit snug, so I went up a size and wore a Small) / Clutch: Gucci (Vintage) / Blue Bangle: F21 (similar here in red and black) / Aviators: F21

I love this dress! This color combo also looks amazing on you 🙂 And I agree, investing in clothing for work is so worth the money (actually just wrote a book about this topic!).
