Pastels for fall are the big “controversy” this season…people either love the idea, or hate it. Fox News Magazine asked me what I thought about the trend and how to wear it, (alongside Jaime Hilfiger and stylist Ali Levine,) and I have to say that I love it.
Rather than go full-on baby pink and chiffon yellow, I opted to pair neutrals with a bold shade and one pastel. I have to say, though, if you choose one color in the “pastel” family to wear for fall, I’d go with a heather grey or camel that will pair well with all of your darker, bolder colors. Pastels are generally flattering on everyone, but if you’re naturally pale like I am, don’t put away the bronzer for winter. You don’t want to look half-alive in that tangerine cashmere sweater.
