I wanted to dedicate one post a month to my favorite things, so I figured what better time to start than the present. So, here we go….
First, this green botanical dress from Lion & Witch is one of my favorite things this month because it’s cute, comfortable, and has awesome details like the bell sleeves and lace up front. Plus, check out the cut-outs in the back! You can’t go wrong wearing this beauty. It’s up for order at the boutique, and you can contact them here. (You can also see it in action in a segment I did for Mother’s Day here.)
Next up: delicious goodies from Les Marquis Laudurée in Paris! One of my sweetest friends, Stephanie, just returned from a ten day trip to Paris, and she brought back some of the coolest souvenirs so I could have a little taste of Paris. I am already a huge fan of Laudurée macarons, so getting the chance to taste their beautiful chocolates was a real treat. First off, how cute are they?!? They are little pieces of art. It was tough to bite into them at first because they looked too pretty to eat! They each have a different filling, and I can safely say it’s the best chocolate I’ve ever had.
What would life be like without honey? Stephanie also brought me back some real French honey, which is also incredible. I use honey for everything; in my tea, on biscuits, on pita bread, or just straight out of the jar. French bees seem a little more sophisticated than the Americans ones, because this stuff is like a drug.
On a beauty note, my favorite beauty product so far this month is by far the Emjoi MicroPedi. I’d seen it advertised before, and I honestly didn’t think I really needed it. I figured my feet were soft enough, and I usually get a pedicure once a month where they scrub my feet. Boy, was I wrong. I DID need it. I gave it a try, and couldn’t believe how smooth my feet felt! I had no idea how rough they felt before using the MicroPedi. It takes about one minute each foot, and you’ll be amazed at how much dead skin (yuck) comes off your feet. Rough heels, the balls of your feet, and even the sides of your feet really benefit from this kind of exfoliation. You can read the reviews on Amazon for yourself, but trust me when I say, you need this. I didn’t realize how quickly this gadget could get rid of a callus. My feet look much prettier, and this thing does way more than you’ll get at your nail salon pedicure. You’ll thank me later for for this small purchase that gives you big results.
There you have it! A few favorite things for the month of May. What are yours? Hit me up on Instagram or Facebook!
