Ming Wang Ruffle Skirt / Ming Wang Tank / Louboutin Leopard Print Heels / Miriam Merenfeld XO Necklace / Elizabeth Arden Lipstick (Red Door Red)/ LuxBox iPhone Case
I love a casual Friday, but most of the time, it’s business as usual with my wardrobe. I have to dress up for work every day, so it’s nice to find pieces that can be mixed dozens of different ways to make new looks. I’ve been a longtime fan of Ming Wang; her pieces are made to last and work well with the other staples you have in your closet. This Ming Wang ruffle-hem skirt and red tank are investments, but you’ll get so much use out of them over time that you’ll feel like a genius for splurging a bit.
This skirt is gorgeous with a blazer if you’re in a very corporate environment, or it pairs beautifully with a satin or silk blouse or shell and cardigan combo. If you wear a lacy camisole underneath a jacket, you can remove the jacket after 5:00 when you head to dinner or happy hour and be ready to go out. And this tank? It’s perfect with jeans, shorts, a shorter skirt….basically anything. I found the perfect red lip from Elizabeth Arden to match; it’s Red Door Red. It’s the softest, prettiest lippy!
And speaking of business, I upgraded my iPhone to match a more professional look, but with still with some style! I will be the first to admit that I’ve been using the same ugly iPhone case for years. It’s very juvenile looking, and very, very, very dirty. I came across LuxBox cases and found exactly what I needed. What I like about this case is that it’s extremely lightweight and has a thin beveled rim that extends 1mm beyond the phone to shield it from minor accidents. I got the 100% Wool cover, but there are some pretty wood grain options, too. I like how thin the case is…it doesn’t make you feel like you’re holding a small hand weight when you’re using your phone like other bulky cases do.
Now for the good stuff for you: I’m giving away this gorgeous Miriam Merenfeld XOXO Infinite Circle Necklace! It’s worth $210, and it’s absolutely stunning. I’m a huge collector of anything from Miriam Merenfeld’s collection, so if you don’t already own one of her pieces, now is your chance! All you have to do is follow her on Facebook or Instagram and be a follower of my Instagram and you are entered to win! (The best part is that she only posts cool, relevant things, so you don’t have to worry about your feed being spammed with craziness. Her pics and posts are always curated and lovely.)
I will announce a winner next Monday, April 18th, so start following her pages now!
