It’s been a whirlwind for the past few months, and getting this site re-designed has been a labor of love. Now that it’s finally complete (I hope!), I plan to update more often. I will do a post soon with some fun new photos from “Texas Living” the past two months, but today I wanted to share special thanks.
Thank you to all of my friends, family, and co-workers who have been praying for our family. This was the first Thanksgiving that my grandparents were not with us….they are in a senior living facility, and unable to walk or feed themselves any longer. The past four months our family has been caring for them daily, with the help of a wonderful staff of home healthcare workers. Though it isn’t easy picking up, changing, feeding, or consoling them during this time, these moments have been precious and memorable.
Since we have been overwhelmed with family duties, we had Thanksgiving catered this year. Though we made a few sides ourselves, I am thankful for the gracious people who gave up their family holiday to work and help ours come together.
Thank you to God for a warm, safe home to eat our wonderful meal. And thank you to Him for our own health and joy.
If you’re considering Black Friday, you may want to watch these helpful videos from Best Buy and Galleria Dallas. Just a suggestion. 🙂
