Autumn is typically known for warm sweaters, puffer vests, cashmere scarves, and closed-toe shoes. As much as I look forward to wearing my warm and cozy side of the closet, I also miss the days of dressing up for the Homecoming dance and Fall Formal. Who doesn’t love an excuse to get really dressed up? Once school is over, the opportunities to celebrate (with the exception of weddings, of course,) seem to dwindle a bit. So when I heard that my hometown was throwing an Autumn Ball on November 8th for young professionals this year, I went in search for stilettos and sequins!
The Dallas Autumn Ball engages, impassions, and empowers civic-minded individuals and young professionals to celebrate, raise awareness, and encourage the betterment of education in Dallas by providing a unique black tie event delivering a philanthropic opportunity to give back in a setting of celebratory fun. Here’s even more great news: it’s affordable to purchase tickets, it takes place at the famous Hotel ZaZa Main Ballroom, and for those who like to imbibe, there will be open bar!
I think of how often I spend money on tickets for entertainment, and it doesn’t really help accomplish anything. But the Dallas Autumn Ball sets out to support the Dallas Education Foundations initiative – Project: Amplify. All proceeds from the Dallas Autumn Ball will go directly to Project: Amplify and impact public education in Dallas. So, if you’re in Big D on November 8th and want to see some incredible fashion and have some good old fashioned black tie fun, head to www.dallasautumnball.com for tickets before they’re all gone!
