Printed pants and jeans aren’t usually my thing. I’m petite and my lower half is larger than my top half, so I typically stay away from printed bottoms out of fear that I will look like a giant walking pear. However, I fell in love with these printed jeans from Gap (now on sale!) and couldn’t help myself.
I haven’t gotten brave enough to wear two prints at once, so I paired these with a mint green tank (after all, it’s about 102 degrees here right now,) and some fun jewelry. My “H” monogram bracelet is a birthday gift from my friend Stephanie, and it’s a beautiful piece from a line called Waxing Poetic. You can add more charms to the bracelet as you go, which I love. Check out their site for all the goodies-they have gifts for every occasion, including jewelry for men, teachers, babysitters, hostesses, everything! The long necklace is also a gift from Stephanie, which says “To the Moon and Back“. Isn’t that great inspiration for the day?
I wish I could say I have more advice about how to wear printed denim, but I think they are pure whimsy and should be worn however the mood strikes you. If you get brave and pair yours with patterns on top, please email me a pic! I’d love to see how you style them.
