I have a love/hate relationship with winter. On the one hand, I love wearing sweaters, scarves, and gloves. On the other, I still want to wear dresses without my legs freezing all day and all night. Which is why good, strong, (warm!) and beautiful tights are imperative for me during cold weather months.
My biggest concern with tights is getting them to last, because we’ve all been there…you look down and they have a hole after wearing them one time! I’ve tried all kinds of brands to find tights that last longer and feel comfortable. I want to be able to buy several different kinds, like a control top, fleece lined, super sheer, patterned, etc. Berkshire tights is an American brand that manufactures its products in the USA (Burlington, North Carolina), and has been making legwear since 1906. And I have to say, they make some pretty comfy tights that are very easy to put on. And they keep me warm!
My favorite thing about the look in this post is that the tights aren’t just leg covering, but actually part of the overall style. The black tights help highlight the gray boots, coordinate with the handbag, AND keep my legs from freezing in the winter temps. Though I chose plain black for this look, I have some Berkshire tights with subtle striped patterns that are super cute, too. You can shop all the Berkshire tights online and they also sell them at Macy’s, so they are easy to find.
On a final note: I’ve been meaning to share something really cool with all of you!
