Today’s post is all about the new finds that are rocking my world. One is hi-tech, one uses my own DNA to help my skin, and one is an adjustable piece of jewelry that makes different looks as easy as pulling a cord. And I can’t wait to share these with you!
Before I get into all that, can I just say how much I love this whimsical bird dress? It’s $11. ELEVEN dollars!!! I paired mine with this black leather obi belt I mentioned in my last post to give the waistline more definition, but it looks cool as a shirt dress, too. When I wore this on the morning show, I got lots of questions about where it was from. Now I’m sharing my eleven dollar secret with all of you!
—> Okay, on to the products that are changing the game for me this month. First up is my Foundmi. I’m a Marvel comics fan, and when I saw this adorable little Thor, he stole my heart. Even more importantly, he serves a purpose that now makes life much easier.
I am one who loses my car keys on a regular basis. To the point it’s reeeeeeaaaaallllly embarrassing. So the best thing about this little guy is you can attach the Foundmi hero to anything and instantly find it by sound using an app with an alert function. You pair it with your smartphone using Bluetooth technology to connect with your Foundmi . The app utilizes Location Services to record the last known location of the Hero based on your phone’s geo-location data. I attached mine to my keychain, so when I can’t find where I left my keys, the app does all the work for me! You don’t have to attach it to your keys; you can attach it to your purse, your backpack, your cosmetic bag, basically anything. If you love Star Wars, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman….there is definitely a Foundmi for you to fall in love with. These make a really cool (and ultimately practical,) gift!
Besides, tech, let’s talk DNA. I’m sure you’ve seen the DNA test commercials on TV that promise to help your discover your heritage. That’s cool, but what if it could also help you discover how to slow down the aging process? I was incredibly interested in trying this out, so I picked up the Home DNA Collection Kit Skin Care Analysis and Report. Available at CVS stores this summer, the kit is supposed to help you build your optimal skincare regimen. Taking the test can help save a lot of money and time as you eliminate products, supplements and treatments that aren’t suitable for your skin type. I’ve just taken mine, so when my results come in, I will report back on what I find out. I’m excited to know if I’ve been hitting the mark with my beauty routine, or if I need to make significant changes.
Finally, did you check out my adjustable Ona Chan black stripe agate necklace? It doesn’t get prettier than this…what a gorgeous stone! It has a sterling silver chain and a colored corded that allows you to wear it as a choker, regular necklace, or a long pendant. It’s like getting three different necklaces in one….and for $75, that’s a steal. I have a handful of beloved Ona Chan pieces that I wear regularly because they are classic, but completely unique. I always get compliments and questions about where the jewelry came from, so if you want to see more, can check out her collection of beauties right here.
It’s a Monday, so hang in there….I have a feeling this week is going to be really wonderful.
