Our first full year as a family of four. Aware it’s our blessing to build childhood memories of joy. We’ve been going to @snowdaypop since 2019 and it makes my heart happy seeing Ford experience the magic like Fox did at his age. We get amazing photos there of all of us without asking strangers to take them. We frame the best one with Santa to display at home. Money truly is best spent on family experiences. My wish is that these boys grow up remembering how they felt sitting with Santa, meeting Sugar Socks the elf, and drinking peppermint milkshakes together. 🎅🏽🎄❤️

We eat out for brunch each Sunday after church and this week the fam tried @tksrestaurant in Addison (it’s also a comedy club!) They have Santa Sundays- if you wear any Christmas flair (like a Santa hat,) you get 1 complimentary Mimosa and if you bring your brunch receipt back later that evening, you get a ticket to that Sunday night’s comedy show! In this economy and especially this time of year, that’s a total win.

We loved the cast iron cinnamon rolls with Grand Marnier cream cheese icing, which we will be back for. They also have amazing house made donut holes with dipping sauces and the boys loved the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes. 10/10 recommend! #dallasrestaurants #dallaschristmas #holidaybrunch

“Let’s go back” is first thing I said to my mom after we went shopping at @clotheshorseanonymous because I’ve been moving away from fast fashion to eco-friendly/ recycled wardrobe that doesn’t hurt other people, creates job here in our own country, and lasts for the long haul. It didn’t take the HBO documentary on fast fashion to convince me to start going this direction, but it certainly opened my eyes to how important these seemingly little choices can be. Easy to see why this boutique is a Dallas staple for 50 years; they carry gorgeous luxury items and the prices (especially these days!) make you feel like you can treat yourself. I bought 2 sweaters, a denim jacket, a work blazer, a maxi dress, and two pairs of shoes for what one pair of luxury jeans or shoes would have cost. It’s a win-win shopping consignment. 10/10 recommend. 💕
