Kaden Sweater / Lokai Bracelet / Paige Denim / Cole Haan Booties / Black Sunnies /
There is nothing I love more than a cozy sweater. I try to add a few new sweaters to my closet every winter that I know I’ll keep for years to come. The prerequisites include: ultra soft, great fit, and a sweater than can be worn a few different ways. Which brings me to the amazing One Grey Day sweater in this post. I AM IN LOVE.
It’s embarrassing to admit, but I wore this sweater three times in one week. Once with leather pants, once with denim, and once with a black pencil skirt! It’s my first sweater from the One Grey Day collection, and it definitely won’t be my last. Their knit collection is sold at some of the best retailers in the country, and it’s very easy to see why. Their products are ridiculously soft, well-made, and they have styles you haven’t seen before. They are totally unique and beautiful! I’ve gotten so many questions about this particular sweater, so you can find it HERE. It’s the Kaden pullover, and it’s worth every dollar. (You can see me wearing the sweater on-air in this segment on kid’s fashion from this week’s show!) I highly recommend checking out their site for some winter essentials.
I’ve also developed a sweet spot for the Lokai bracelet I’m wearing in this post. Here’s what it means:
–The White Bead: Stay Humble – Carrying water from Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth, the white bead represents life’s highest moments. It’s those times when you’re feeling on top of the world, that it’s most important to stay humble.
–The Black Bead: Stay Hopeful -Sitting directly opposite its white counterpart, the black bead holds mud from the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, signifying the difficult moments you experience throughout life. Even through life’s lowest moments, stay hopeful. Plus, each purchase means 10% of the proceeds are donated to charity!
Isn’t that a nice sentiment? Especially this time of year, it’s important to be both humble and hopeful. I got mine from Plum Yoga in Dallas (they sell eco-conscious, sustainable products and support local businesses and global causes), but I have a link to where you can get yours if you live in another city. I think this would make a sweet present for someone in your life who may be experiencing an amazing up, or even if they are feeling a bit down. The message works for the good and bad times in life.
My wish for you today is that the good of this Christmas fill your heart. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
