Orange Crush

“Whoever said orange is the new pink was seriously disturbed.” Remember this quote from “Legally Blonde“?

That movie came out a number of years ago, and since then, it kind of has become the new pink.

Though people often say redheads shouldn’t wear orange, I think it’s one of the best colors on a redhead! (Speaking of redheads, did you see the article by National Geographic that says those of us with natural red hair will be extinct in the next hundred years? Crazy!)

I found this bright orange dress at Banana Republic (for $14 on sale), and I love it because you can pair it with gold and neutrals like you see here, or you can punch it up with turquoise, purple, or even yellow. It’s a great color if you want to make a statement, and it isn’t PINK!

On a side note, I love to try new beauty products and see what they are all about. I recently got the chance to try VBeaute, and it’s fantastic. Back to orange….word on the street is that it is here to stay for a while, so go ahead and grab something orange on sale this summer before it transitions in to fall. I plan on throwing on a denim jacket with this dress when it gets cooler outside to keep the citrus vibe going through October.
