Today’s post is from my recent trip to Philadelphia, where I learned that the Reading Terminal Market is one of the greatest places on earth. If you visit Philly, this is one stop you have to make. Homemade goodies (many by Amish bakers,) are everywhere….from sweets, to meats, to Asian fare, and lots of organic, healthy meals, too. And the smell of freshly baked bread will get you every time!
Speaking of eating, every woman has a day where they don’t feel their most fit. And that’s when a printed shift dress and a long scarf come into play. I love this jersey dress from Apricot Lane for so many reasons, but masking flaws is definitely one of them. (And you can order this dress from the store if you aren’t in Dallas!)
I have a tendency to over-eat sometimes, and that can leave the dreaded food baby to carry around all day. Rather than beat myself up for lack of self-control, it’s easier to resolve to do better next time and wear a comfortable, stylish dress!
(Who could turn down the Amish chocolate-covered almonds, anyway?)
