Plaid Babydoll Dress fr. Ricochet c/o / Crochet Kimono fr. Ricochet c/o / Givenchy Antigona handbag / Kate Spade Love Bangle / Agate & Bullet necklace fr. Ricochet c/o / Fringe Booties fr. Ricochet c/o
Nothing says fall like plaid and fringe. Those two go hand in hand this season, so I paired them together for this look. (Both affordable and gorgeous from Ricochet, which you can find in Instagram here.) In the interest of full disclosure, I made a mistake when getting dressed the day we shot these photos. I was in such a rush to get out the door, I didn’t realize I’d put on this darling plaid babydoll dress inside out. It wasn’t until we began shooting that I noticed my oops. And the funny thing is, the dress looks fab even when it’s inside out!
Baby doll dresses may seem like they are just for the younger crowd, but I think there are ways you can dress them up to make them work at almost any age. The addition of this crochet kimono keeps the look casual and fun, and I added my new fav bullet/agate necklace to the layering. And could you just die with these peep-toe fringe booties?! They are so cute, we ended up talking about them on the show I work on last week. These babies are going to be worn with skirts, leggings, jeans…basically everything all season long. You can get everything in this look by contacting Ricochet through their Instagram or Facebook page to order. The prices are fantastic!
Let today’s post be a lesson to you: not every fashion mistake turns out to be a disaster. Sometimes, it just makes your look edgier!
