Labor Day is creeping up on us, and that means summer is slowly slipping away. Living in the Dallas heat has made saying goodbye less and less painful over the years, but there is a little something disheartening about putting away those white shoes and linen shorts.
There are a few Labor Day parties and weddings to attend, so it’s the last chance to work in summer prints and bright whites. Make the most of it while you can, and hit up the Labor Day sales this weekend for slashed prices on finds that will still look gorgeous next summer. Time to make the closet transition to fall….which means wardrobe envy of those who live in cooler climates. In Dallas, we can’t comfortably wear a sweater until the end of October. Which means I’ll be investing in a good deodorant and some strong perfume as I sweat it out in wool while it’s still 85 degrees outside.
