As luck would have it, I’ve been a bit under the weather and it’s freezing outside! So today’s post comes from a day when it wasn’t quite so chilly and bare legs wouldn’t cause frostbite.
As I mentioned in my last post, I am honored to help raise funds for the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas this year. Beverly Drive Magazine (always a treat to read,) and the beautiful Yvonne Crum choose a group of ladies to be “Fashion Stars for a Cause”, and last month there was a lovely party to celebrate. (We stepped off a jet in an airplane hangar…talk about a fun entrance!) Since I was in the holiday spirit, I chose a sparkly number to wear from one of my favorite stores-Aftershock London. I felt like I could be a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars”….this dress was meant to be on a dance floor. The combination of feathers and sequins is every girl’s dream!
To find out how you can help prevent suicide and fund crisis intervention, check out my post here.
