EShakti Sequin Maxi Dress c/o / Gold Stiletto Heels / Rhinstone Chandelier Earrings (similar)/ Rhinestone Bangles / Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick c/o / Living Proof Hair Care
One of my favorite things is finding a special occasion dress that doesn’t require any alterations. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen all that often. And as I’m sure you know, alterations can be expensive. BUT-I found a great solution that won’t break the bank and gives you plenty of options for cute, tailor made clothes!
eShakti.com is an online women’s apparel company offering sizes 0-36W custom clothing. I requested that this sequin maxi be customized for my specific fit: bust, chest, hips, shoulders, waist. I also chose the neckline I wanted from several styles, the length of the skirt, and whether I wanted it to have pockets (I did). The process is super simple; there aren’t any trips to the tailor involved. The dress arrived incredibly quickly, and fit like a glove! It was exactly what I wanted, and the length worked perfectly with the heels I’d decided to wear with it before I placed my custom order. The best part? It wasn‘t an expensive, time-consuming experience. I now have a custom special occasion dress that I love. They also offer cute clothes for work, like this cute faux wrap dress and the versatile wide leg dress pant. You can see more on their Facebook page and Pinterest page.
And speaking of things I love, I can’t tell you how long I’ve looked for a matte lipstick that is moisturizing and doesn’t need 15 swipes to get the color where it needs to be. Matte lipstick makes a statement without overpowering your mouth with layers of shine and gloss. It’s a professional, clean, no-nonsense look, and it’s my go-to for fall. When I got the chance to try NEW Pure Color Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick by Estée Lauder, I knew I’d found my spirit animal…in a lipstick. I fell hard for the berry shade I’m wearing in these photos (it’s called Unattainable,) but the other shades for fall are just as rich and daring for $30. They were developed with the help of supermodel Joan Smalls, who knows a thing or two about color….so I have no doubt if you try one, you’ll be hooked, too.
It’s Friday (HOORAY), so enjoy the weekend, everyone!
