Packing for my upcoming trip to Colorado should be easy…mostly athletic clothes and a few nice outfits. For a dressier casual style, I love a crisp linen shirt. But let’s be real…good linen can be expensive. I have been on the hunt for a beautiful linen shirt and a clean, white pair of jeans that doesn’t have holes, frayed edges, or cuffs. Just a pretty bootcut pair of white jeans…is that too much to ask? But again, premium jeans can be expensive. I wanted to try and score both of these items for around $100, so I went to Saks Off Fifth to see what I could find.
Let me start with this Saks Fifth Avenue brand linen shirt in this gorgeous turquoise! I found it in an extra-small, which meant it fit snugly in all the right places and didn’t have to be tailored. This shirt originally retailed for $115, and I got it for $24.99. Can you believe that deal??? It’s a super soft linen and looks great with the sleeves rolled up or rolled down. Super cute!
I also FINALLY found a pair of white jeans that look classic. No more holes, frays, cuffs, or embellishments, thank you very much! Saks Off Fifth had Hudson Signature BootCut jeans, and they are my new love! Hudson jeans fit a curvy woman better than a lot of brands out there. Instead of spending $165 retail, these babies were $79.99. I looooove these jeans. With the money I’m saving, I have more to spend on excursions on my vacation.
All in all, I saved $170 on two (elusive) items that I’ve been searching for, which makes me feel even better about my purchases. I was also really surprised by how many awesome workout outfits they have at Saks Off Fifth, too….so when I’m ready to replace my old workout clothes, I know exactly where I’m going!
Have a safe and Happy 4th of July tomorrow!
