It’s only Wednesday, but it’s been a bit of a rough week. I had to take a day off work since I wasn’t feeling well, and lost money doing so and cancelling some other shoots I had lined up. That’s a big bummer. But I had to remind myself that everything happens for a reason, and I need to enjoy the rest while I’m taking it.
Though it’s rainy and muddy today, a few days ago we shot these photos in sunnier times, and I had the first chance to wear my new Brooklyn Hat Company Natural Hat with Coachella trim! Though the hat is super cute, it’s the great benefits it provides to my skin that makes me love it even more. I wear sunglasses regularly outdoors all year long, but it’s about that time to make wearing a hat outdoors part of my routine. This one is awesome because the colors go with basically anything and everything.
The 70’s off-the-shoulder sundress is also making appearances this year, and I love it! You’ll see off-the-shoulder looks everywhere, from Neiman Marcus to Hollister. This particular dress came from Forever21 during the fall, but I feel like the pretty terracotta color is still lovely for summertime.
May I brag about my ring for a moment? It’s amazing! It’s from the Leonardo D’Almagro collection, and quite the showstopper. I have always wanted a large cocktail ring, and this one is a beautiful, long rectangular shape made of smoky quartz. It’s just the right amount of sparkle!
I’m hoping after laying a little low today and maybe tomorrow I’ll be back in business…
