It’s cold. And that means sweat pants.
Sweatpants were designed for exercise, but these days they are meant for anything BUT. They are meant for lounging, snuggling up, and reading a good book.
Do I wear sweatpants out and about? Absolutely. It might not be the most fashionable thing to wear, but sometimes comfort over style is its own style.
This particular pair has been dubbed “Saturday Pants” by Old Navy, which seems appropriate considering I’ve been living in them every Saturday morning. I paired them with my favorite cashmere sweater, my Mom’s wool hat, and my Nike golf shoes. Comfort as it’s finest.
If you’re in the market for reading that will leave you feeling inspired and full of hope, check out The Circle Maker by Mark Batterson. (I received this book as a thoughtful gift from Ashley Gilbreath. If you’re a lover of interior design eye candy, you HAVE to check out her blog. She and her team create the most beautiful things!) This book will give you a new way to think of, pray for, and imagine your dreams. And since it’s a new year, that means we could all use a fresh take on how God wants us to dream BIG.
“Just as our greatest successes often come on the heels of our greatest failures, our greatest answers often come on the heels of our longest and most boring prayers.” -Mark Batterson
