Having red hair is something I really enjoy. Having tangled, flat, dry red hair isn’t.
I’m always looking for new products to try on my hair to keep it full, moisturized, and healthy. As I gradually change my diet to a natural, organic one, the more I look at the labels on products to find out what’s really in them.
When I was given the chance to try out Taya Beauty, I was pleasantly surprised to find out ALL Taya products are formulated free of sulfates, parabens, animal products, and animal testing. Not only that, but their lovely website also points out that the ingredients are sourced sourced through environmentally sustainable programs which are free of toxic and agrochemical agents, or genetically modified elements. Hallelujah!
BUT… do they work?
I had the whole darn arsenal of products to be sure:
Amazon White Clay Thickening Shampoo
Amazon White Clay Thickening Conditioner
Amazon White Clay Thickening Leave-in Mist
Amazon White Clay Thickening Whipped Clay
Amazon White Clay Thickening Creme
Amazon White Clay & Acacia Collagen Hair Plumper
Amazon White Clay Hair Spray
Amazon White Clay Thickening Hair Spray
The lowdown? First and foremost, don’t go crazy with the amount. These products are so incredibly good, you don’t need huge dollops of it to get a fantastic result! As someone with fine hair, I usually go a bit overboard to get thicker, plumper hair. But Taya Beauty does the job beautifully with just a small amount of product. And I mean small. Like nickel or quarter size. I mean it!
It’s no wonder the thickening products are Customer Picks at HSN. If you struggle with creating fuller hairstyles, live in a climate that flattens your hair by mid-morning (I’m talking to you, Houston), or you have thinning hair, I recommend you try Taya Beauty! You might find that you will use some products more than others; I use very little Leave-In, but I can’t live without hairspray (mid-day spruce-ups) and hair Plumper.
When something works this well and is a natural product, you can feel good about the money you’re spending on it. Since discovering these products, I’m interested to try their repairing oils when my hair dries out this summer! If you use Taya Beauty, I’d love to hear from you…and if you don’t, you’re missing out on thicker, prettier hair.

Hi Hilary,
Have you had a (non formaldehyde) keratin treatment? If not, I cannot recommend it more highly! That’s made a huge difference for me & my (still long & blonde) hair: it is healthier, shinier, & so much easier/quicker when styling. Biggest advantage is dry time is nominal when compared to pretreatment.
Hope you’re doing well! All the best,
Your Hollywood Twin 🙂
