Planning on any travel this summer? If you’re a high heels kind of girl like I am, it can be tempting to wear those heels to the airport or walking around on vacation. But after a few sore experiences, I’ve learned that nothing beats a comfortable pair of shoes when you travel. I still want to wear something cute, but my shoes need to keep me from blisters, sore feet, and bruised heels. I like to only feature things that I wear and love in real life, so I wanted to show you my favorite travel shoes: this cute pair of Baretraps Hastings in a classic Mary Jane style. These bad boys are made with a memory foam footbed and a super easy velcro closure. (This is KEY to being able to remove your shoes quickly and easily when you’re at airport security check-points.) When I say I can walk in these ALL day and have no issues, I mean it. You won’t find a more affordable and comfortable pair! I checked this morning and this particular color seems to be sold out, but they still have a super sleek black pair or beautiful lavender in stock.)
And while I’m on the subject of travel, do you find that when you get on a plane your skin magically dries out? My face turns into a desert. It’s a good idea to pack StriVectin Multi-Action Stress Defense Hydrating Water Gel, which I’ve found curbs the dry, flaky skin that seems to show up the second my flight takes off. What I like most about this product is that it helps fade lines and wrinkles and plumps up my tired skin. It’s incredible how deflating and lackluster dry skin can make your face look. But when I use this gel, it plumps right back up and has a nice, dewy glow. I give it five out of five stars!
It’s another Monday, so here’s to a happy, healthy, and productive week. I hope yours includes travel to a fun destination…
