If you’re looking to invest in one dress that can be worn to anything, this Ellie Kai Classic Wrap Dress is a great choice. (I picked the Micro Crimson print.) This wrap dress is ideal for almost any occasion I can think of: work, church, wedding, cocktail party, baby shower, date night….truly anything. You can dress it up with jewelry, or you can make it more casual with flats. No matter which way you style it, this dress is incredibly comfortable and flattering. I wore it on the show recently, and then went to Target to grab a few things afterwards. Two women stopped me at different places in the store to ask me where I got the dress! One woman even asked if she could look at the Ellie Kai tag in the back of my dress to make a note of the designer. You know a dress is a winner when that happens.
You may notice the initial necklace I’m wearing, which is another new addition to my collection. It’s from Uno Magnetic, which is an awesome place to find versatile, affordable jewelry. The magnetic chain can be worn alone, or you can add charms like the “H” initial I added. (I also have some pretty Swarovski crystals, too.) At prices like $10-$15 for the chains and charms in lots of awesome colors and metallics, they make a cool gift for the holidays. You can also layer the chains together, which looks really cool!
Cuff bracelets are quickly becoming one of my favorites because they stay put when you wear them. Especially if you do a lot of typing at work or you’re around kids who might pull on jewelry or get caught in it. A gold cuff with pretty dots from Ellie’s Sparkles caught my eye, and it’s just one of the many cuffs you can choose from on their site. (My leather monogram Ellie’s Sparkles cuff has been getting a ton of wear lately, too.) They are also very affordable and made incredibly well.
That’s it for today…I’ll be back later this week with how to style a bomber jacket!
