Who says you have to do your outdoor sight-seeing during the day? Sometimes, escaping to the trails and foraging through the forest is much more exciting as the sun starts to go down. When I travel, I often like to see a place through my imaginary night vision goggles….you really start to get a sense of the magic a destination holds when you see it through the sunset and beyond.
A nighttime picnic is especially romantic. Animal watching at night is a whole new kind of wonderful. (Just keep a safe distance from the opposums and coyotes, okay?) And who doesn’t love watching the waves crash on the shore of a sparkling beach at night?
This entire outfit is “Hilary Approved” for comfort and ease when taking the night by storm. These faded runner shorts in black from SuperDry are suuuuuuper comfy…and they have a drawstring, which I love because I can let them out a little once I’ve indulged in too much dessert! The Peekaboo Palm Cami Top is simple to throw on (and doesn’t require a bra if you’re feeling free…hallelujah!)
Though I don’t need them at night, I always keep sunglasses with me at all times. I ordered this gorgeous aviator pair from SuperDry, and they are everything! And hey, you need them with you in case you’re up until the sun comes up. 😉
Can I gush about my new concealer before I wrap things up? If you read my blog at all, you know L’Orèal is one of my fav brands. The Infallible Total Coverage concealer palette is perfect for summer as you turn many different shades. There is a blendable concealer for your sexy tan…and the coverage is exactly what you want in a concealer. I like to blend mine on with the L’Orèal Infallible Blend Artist beauty blender. This is an awesome tool to get a smooth finish and keep the concealer from settling into fine lines. It’s also great for getting a flawless finish with my foundation!
The week is half over, but good things are still ahead…..get out there while the night is young.

I’m loving the palm leaf pattern. I have been seeing it everywhere lately and can’t get enough of it!
