Chambray Shirt / Cream Sweater / Skinny Jeans / Pour La Victoire Suede Boots / F&W Style Roxy Bag / Gray Hat / Black Gloves / Gray Wool Coat (similar)
Are you seeing signs of spring everywhere yet? I noticed my rose bushes are starting to get a few sprigs on them, and trees are blooming everywhere in my neighborhood. In New York City last week, though, it still felt like winter on our first day in town.
I’ll admit that I don’t like wearing a lot of layers. Gloves can be a hassle when you’re trying to do, well, anything. But layers and gloves (plus a warm felt hat), saved me while out walking in the cold. In fact, we walked ten miles around the city the first day and four more the second day!
If you’re packing for a trip somewhere that still has a chill in the air, I recommend these pieces because you can re-work them to make additional outfits. I brought my chambray button-up shirt, this woolly cream sweater, and my favorite F&W Style Roxy cross-body bag. Animal print is a fun touch to this otherwise basic look!
I was sad to leave the city, but it wasn’t terrible to return home to 70 degree days. Spring is on the way!
