This was a very eventful week! It began with rescuing a lost pig, and ends with a trip that coincides with the President’s vacation plans.
- Top Left: We arrived in a winter paradise yesterday- Palm Springs! It’s our favorite way to spend Valentine’s Day every year, and a fantastic time with family, too. This pic is our backyard oasis for the next few days. Not a bad view, eh? It just so happens that every year we are here at the same time as POTUS. We passed him on the street this afternoon, and you wouldn’t believe the insane motorcade that follows his every move. With this amazing weather, I’m sure he will have a fantastic weekend of golf!
- Bottom Left: This pink dress from Lion & Witch is my pick for Valentine’s Day! I absolutely love hot pink, and this dress is hot pink with a kick. They have it in stock, so you can order over the phone or via their social pages. You’ll love this dress. I also need to give a shout out to TYME Iron for these amazing curls. I just began using my TYME Iron this week, and I am in love! I have a post coming up soon with all the details, but just know that it’s the business.
- Top Right: #NoFOMO! I joined in on Target’s campaign to end the fear of missing out when it comes to activities this summer that require a swimsuit. Why let our fears and insecurities keep us from having fun? I love this black halter suit from Target-it’s just one of dozens of cute suits they have in stores right now.
- Middle Right: This drink tumbler is my Valentine’s Day gift from Mom, and it’s hilarious. I love the cute sentiment, and it’s a very tall tumbler that can hold me steaming cup of Earl Grey and English Breakfast tea each morning.
- Bottom Right: Meet Rosie the Pig! We found Rosie at the park on Sunday morning, and we believe she was dumped there by a previous owner. Though that fact is a sad one, with the help of some kind neighbors, we moved Rosie from the park to a safe backyard until we could find a new home for her. We checked for a microchip at the local vet first, and then posted online to help find a current owner or a new one. A lovely woman who already owns a pig was looking for a friend for him, and couldn’t wait to make Rosie the newest member of their family. A very happy ending indeed!
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone…
