This week was a crazy one…very little down time and a lot of lost sleep. I managed to take a few photos along the way, so here’s a quick snapshot of what went down…
- Top Left: I had the chance to work with Zay Zay, a hilarious and kind talent all the way from New York City! He joined the show this week and left us in stitches. It’s always a good week when you get to work with people who are as nice as they are talented. Check out his website for all the best entertainment news.
- Bottom Left: While photographing this black crochet dress for the blog, I was photo bombed by the two little (furry) loves of my life! Tate was mugging for the camera…with his tongue out, of course.
- Top Right: I kicked off the week with two of my best girlfriends at a sushi throw down. We ordered so much sushi that I almost had to be airlifted home. It’s amazing how after nine years, we are still committed to spending time together on a regular basis. These ladies (plus Sue, our other partner in crime), were in my wedding and continue to be an encouragement to me year after year.
- Middle Right: I’ve been making more time this week for Scripture reading. I do a “quiet time” every day where I read and pray, but this week I have been focusing on certain scriptures and writing the promises down in my journal. Sometimes it seems like God is slow in answering prayers, so I go to the Word to renew my hope and faith in what is to come. This particular Bible verse sums up my week.
- Bottom Right: How amazing does this look? I went to enjoy Dim Sum with my co-workers on Tuesday at a phenomenal restaurant called The Pearl in Grand Prairie, Texas. We tried everything from Kombucha mocktails, roast duck, Hong Kong fried rice, steamed buns, and deep fried sea bass. I’ve never enjoyed a meal so much! If you’re ever in the Dallas area and find yourself craving Dim Sum, you need to check The Pearl out. You’ll leave with a full tummy and wonderful memories.
What does the weekend hold? Hopefully lots of sleep. And probably some cookies.
