Happy Friday, everyone! This week has been a blur…I’ve never worked such long days. The weekend can’t come soon enough! Here’s a peek at what went down this week:
Top Left: Last night was the annual Polish Fashion Show in Dallas, which is a fundraiser for the Polish organization. This is a fantastic group that blends professional women with faith and friendship, and I love everything it stands for. I walked in the fashion show last year, but this year I had the honor getting to emcee the event. In this pic, the crazy talented makeup artist Paige Anderson was transforming my face before the big event!
Bottom Left: Here is the beautiful braid that Anastasia created for me to wear for the show! Isn’t it lovely? She created this look in less than ten minutes, and I couldn’t have been more in love! I also got to wear this gorgeous Elaine Turner print dress and Kendra Scott necklace. They styled everyone beautifully…I can’t wait to share more pics soon.
Top Right: Check out my sushi-making skills! I learned from Chef Fuji at Five Sixty, a Wolfgang Puck restaurant this week. He taught me how to prepare the rice, create the inside of the roll, and then roll it up. My rolls turned out great, (much to my surprise), and I think I’ll make this a goal to do at home once a month.
Middle Right: Okay, this wasn’t from this week. But I took a snap of this hilarious bag at a store called ACME in Manhattan, Kansas a few weeks ago. I bought several goodies from this store and just had to share!
Bottom Right: Cue the fan! I wish I could be like Beyoncè and have a fan follow me around all day, but it’s only happened this one time. I did a shoot spoofing some of the Bravo shows, and they used a fan to give me the glammed up “housewife” look. It makes your hair look amazing, but you start to get really cold after a few minutes. 🙂
That’s all for this week! I’ll be back next week with more reviews and views.
