Sweater season! Hooray! And let me tell you, this one is my favorite so far this year. It’s a gorgeous forest green, but it comes in many other colors. And guess what? This cutie is only $15! Can you believe that? Now I want one in every single color. It’s soft and has the cutest tie details to create a cold shoulder sweater. For $15, I say it’s the best sweater deal I’ve seen this season. (And hey…the marigold color is only $13. Total steal.)
I love green and turquoise together, so I paired my KANUPRIYA Jewelry Seashore Bangle with Turquoise with my sweater. KANUPRIYA is a jewelry line is based in California, and they have the most eye catching semi-precious 18k gold plated jewelry. The line is found in select stores all over the world and has been seen on quite a few international celebrities…and on two of my favorite websites, HSN and Gilt. I’ve been wearing this bracelet on the show, to parties, and with my everyday outfits. It’s beautiful! They have so many great pieces, and the prices are amazing. (Many of their bangles are only $55!)
You guys know how much I love trying new skincare brands and sharing what works. I came across Lena & Lina because I’m always on the hunt for cruelty-free, eco-conscious brands. First, I gave the Hydra Cleanse and Creme Rejuv a try. The Hydra Cleanse is supposed to remove makeup and dead skin cells, without stripping skin of much needed hydration. The verdict? It’s gentle, but it does remove every single trace of dirt, oil, and makeup. It evens out rough patches and leaves skin feeling soft. (Which is awesome, because some of my cleansers left my skin feeling tight and dry.) Though I don’t struggle with these conditions, their formula is helpful for those who have eczema, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis.
Creme Rejuv is $75, so I was really hoping it packed a punch for the money. It doesn’t disappoint! It’s lightweight and really helps to restore moisture in skin- especially after nights of the heater running and dry winter air. Skin looks brighter the next morning, too! I recommend wearing this under your makeup each day to keep your skin smooth and hydrated. Your makeup will glide on much better and look like satin with the right foundation on top!
The Stress Mask ($15) is a nice little pick-me-up for your skin, especially if it’s been put through the ringer lately. I worry about the effects of pollution and sun damage showing up on my skin, so little treats like this one make me feel more proactive about my aging prevention. The mask sheet contains a dosage of “serum with rhodiola extract (neurogenic inflammation inhibition) and portulaca extract (anti-irritation, cell protection, anti-inflammation) via extremely fine 3D fibers to de-stress and protect against pollution, UV rays, and dryness.” It’s soothing and your skin feels cool and fresh afterwards. Perfect little treat!
Finally, the finishing touch: Ceramide Infused Essence Mist ($49). This is a great product to use under your makeup, or on top as a setting spray. What I love about this finishing step is that it locks in your moisture and keeps your makeup from drying out your face! I also think it makes your makeup last longer, but that’s just my opinion. I’ve come to realize that dry skin is what makes me look old, tired, and dull. If a few mists of this can help combat that, I’m all in!
