Like everyone else, the new year means I am trying new things to stay healthy and be in better shape. I have a gym membership where I take classes, but not every class fits with my crazy work schedule. I needed things around the house for quick workouts and to pack easily when I’m traveling, so I took the chance to try out TKO Resistance Bands, which are actually even better than the ones I use at my gym!
You will probably want them for the same reason I did- the Adjustable Resistance Bands are 4-way resistance bands, and they tighten abs and sculpt your arms and back. I’ve only used resistance bands occasionally, but I’ve seen YouTube videos on how they build core muscles while helping with strength and flexibility. Not only is this TKO version easy to travel with, but they take up very little storage space at home. You get a complete upper and lower body workout that you can feel. The adjustable tension for varied resistance helped me customize a weekly workout so I wasn’t doing the same thing every time . At $12.99, I give this two bicep curls up!
You’ve heard the phrase “wearable tech” non-stop for the past couple of years, and the Wraps Wristband Headphones fit in this category. Although they look like your typical sport headphones, they are literally wearable both in and out of the gym. They come in several different materials: natural leather, natural wood, and braided. Do you lose your headphones when it comes time to head to the gym or for a run? Or tangle them into a mess? Wraps are easy to keep untangled and look super cute on the wrist! It’s also a great gift to give to the musician in your life as well. The Natural Wood version is on my list of gifts to buy the husband this year.
Last, but not least, is the Active Band Waist Trainer from Hourglass Angel I’m wearing in these photos. After reviewing a waist trainer for a previous post, I decided to purchase this one to wear at the gym. I’ve been wearing it for a few months now during my work out, and it’s made a difference in defining my waist line. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but then friends and co-workers noticed my smaller waist. It’s a good feeling to have a more defined waist outside of the gym without wearing it, even if I have to put up with some discomfort at the gym with the waist trainer on. I won’t lie; it’s a little constricting and uncomfortable at first. But as time goes on, you begin to feel at ease wearing it during your workouts. Plus, once you see the results after a few months, you won’t mind the extra effort.
Amia Active Bands are specifically designed to increase thermal activity in your core, ramping up perspiration so you work up a harder sweat. Here are 6 quick exercise videos to engage and strengthen the core that show you how to workout wearing your waist trainer. A new video will be released each week via hourglassangel.com/no-excuses/, offering workouts and fitness tips to stay motivated and achieve your goal of a sexy, curvy and healthy you.
You’ll enjoy these things when it comes time to get your sweat on, and none of them break the bank. Hallelujah!
