Floral Maxi Dress c/o/ Louis Vuitton Bag / Turquoise Druzy Earrings (similar) / Turquoise Ring / Black Heels / Miriam Merenfeld Love Necklace c/o/ Stella & Dot Monogram Necklace c/o/ Black Bodycon Dress
Okay. Can I talk a second about how much I love this dress? It’s layers and layers of soft, billowy fabric, and it’s a maxi dress that actually has sleeves! I didn’t realize when I chose this dress that it comes in a shorter length and different colors, but both of them are lovely. Another great thing about this dress is that you can wear it with a cami or bodycon dress underneath like I did, or you can wear it without for a much sexier look. (Especially if you are on a romantic vacation!) This dress is also under $40…can you believe that?! It’s like it was meant for my yellow Louis Vuitton Alma bag, too!
Inside my bag are two new skincare favorites….you may recall a post I did about Skin Authority, which is a brand I added to my arsenal of miracle workers this year. Well, I’ve gotten the chance to to try the Vitamin A Cell Renewal and Vitamin D Fortified Topical Elixir…and it’s been awesome. I just went to a dermatologist for the very first time this week, and I was told retinoids are key to my routine moving forward. This Vitamin A Cell Renewal is a gentler alternative to things like Retin-A and Renova. It accelerates cell turnover, stimulates collagen, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It can even reduce acne and fade scars! It feels wonderful on the skin, so I apply it every night before bed before putting on my moisturizer. (Let it sink in for two minutes before moisturizing.)
The Vitamin D Fortified Topical Elixir is what every face needs when it starts to look a bit dull. I always thought skin brighteners were an unnecessary step, but this has proven me wrong. It contains essential nutrients like D2, D3, A, E, and K, which firm and brighten skin after repeated use! Best of all, it contains no parabens, AHA, dyes, added fragrances, or animal testing. It smells nice and feels great, but it really helps keep my skin from looking so dull.
Have a wonderful (not so dull) weekend!
