I do believe that you get back what you give, in one way or another. As a Christian, it’s typically known as “what you sow, you also reap”. It’s also commonly referred to in society as “Karma”. No matter what you call it, it’s a great reminder that what you put out there can affect your future. I love this tee from Vibration Apparel with the word Karma on it, because it reminds me that the effort I put into my fitness and health will come back to benefit my life. The triangle on the tank shows what happens when I put my energy towards my workouts; that energy comes right back into the other parts of my life. I love seeing that! Some days, it’s just the motivation I need. There are two things I appreciate most about Vibration Apparel: one, they print 100% of their designs in the U.S.A. and support local businesses, and two, they partnered with an organization called Samaritans365, a not-for-profit that spreads good vibes by creating programs to teach school-age children about the importance of kindness. Talk about creating good vibes! I love supporting companies with this kind of mission.
And while I’m on the topic of supporting companies with a noble mission, Kiehl’s is doing something super awesome, too. They’ve partnered with Bright Pink to advocate for education and early detection of breast cancer. They created a Limited Edition Butterstick Lip Treatment Duo, and for every one of them sold, they will donate 100% of net profits, up to $25,000 to Bright Pink! If you suffer from dry lips like I do (and I suffer from it no matter what time of year it is because I can’t part with my long-wear lipsticks,) this butterstick balm keeps your lips hydrated for 12 hours! It also contains an SPF 25 sunscreen to keep your lips looking young and protected. And for those of you who suffer from cold sores triggered by sun exposure, this lip treatment with a high SPF can really help cut down on breakouts. One is un-tinted, and one is a lovely rose shade for those days when you want a bit of color. I wear the un-tinted at night before bed, and the rose shade during the day after work. If you purchase one, let them know by using the hashtag, #KissForTheCure.
