I have always carried a tote for work since they can easily hold my laptop and essentials. But now that I also have a toddler? Stuff multiplied faster than you can say GoGo Squeeze. You’re probably a bit like me; I didn’t want to haul around my work bag plus a diaper bag everywhere I went during the work week. I knew I wanted a tote that could pull double duty, so when I found the Stephanie Taylor Cameron Tote and I couldn’t be happier.
Can I just say how luxurious and classic this tote is? It’s the first thing I noticed about it. It can be taken into a board meeting as easily as it can be taken to the park. It’s soft, buttery leather with pretty gold hardware. I love everything about the shape and style. But the inside is what I’m here to rave about…it has a place to organize my entire life.
So…what’s inside my bag?
–MacBook Pro laptop (must have for answering long emails, using Photoshop and research for work)
–iPhone XS Max. Yes, I know it’s an oldie. I just haven’t made the jump to a newer version yet because this one still works for me. My phone case holds all my credit cards and license, so I don’t use a wallet anymore.
–The Message Bible. This was a gift from a BlazeTV viewer. I have enjoyed reading the Message interpretations of scripture when doing quiet time with the Lord.
–Kate Spade tortoiseshell sunglasses. These were a gift from a shoot I did for MorningSave.com last year, and I love them because they are so comfortable.
–Kind Bar. I am the worst about snacking too much, but these bars make me feel like I’m at least attempting to be a healthier snacker. 😂
–Keys.
–Baby wipes. Any Mom of a child knows these are a must! I use Pampers Pure because they are gentle.
–Extra Pull-Ups. We are potty training our son, so these are often used when clean “big boy underwear” is not in ample supply. 😣
–Good Morning Farm Friends book. My son loves this book and I like to have one on hand to keep him occupied while waiting at restaurants. I don’t like for him to have more than 30 mins per day of screen time of any sort, so books, puzzles and coloring usually do the trick.
–Louis Vuitton cosmetic case. This is a classic and holds all my essentials.
–Almay Intense i-Color Palettes. These are new from Almay and I keep them in my bag for those moments when I can’t go home and do my eye makeup. They are basically “paint by number” so you can get a fully done eye look without having to concentrate or experiment! The colors are gorgeous.
–Ricola Cough Drops. Speaking all day can give me a dry throat, and I am obsessed with these in the Honey Herb flavor. Also good during allergy season.
–Project 7 Everest Peppermint Gum. It’s naturally sweetened, sugar-free gum that gives fresh breath. It’s also aspartame free (if you are as worried about that kind of thing as I am.) I chew this all day long!
–Hairbrush and hair ties.
It’s a lot, right? The Cameron Tote has 6 interior pockets including 3 hidden compartments and one each for cell phone, iPad and kindle/tablet. It keeps everything organized and also private. I can put valuables into the hidden compartments so they are not easily accessible. The bag closes with super strong magnets so I don’t have to worry with zipping it up or having a tote that is wide open, either. It’s the most convenient, organized bag I’ve ever used. (I chose the Cafe Latté color, but it also comes in Navy and Tangerine.)
One last thing to mention: Stephanie Taylor bags are made in the USA, which is one of my favorite things about this company. The craftsmanship is impeccable and I love knowing the bags are made ethically. 🙌🏼 You can follow Taylor Bags on Facebook and Instagram.
Now, if only I could fit my toddler in there, too….😉
