Do you have a dress in your closet that you wish you could wear all year long? I fell in love with this one from Tinsely Radix…it’s the lovely Andi dress, and the pretty blue, black, and white stripes make it such a classic. I’d been dying to wear it out, and the day I planned to wear the dress, it was bitterly cold. Instead of waiting for warmer days, I threw on a thin black turtleneck, matching scarf, and polka dot tights to make it work. My black and white leather gloves went with it perfectly, too! This dress is a fantastic choice for holiday parties, brunches, baby showers, weddings…every occasion. And just because it’s cold, doesn’t mean you can’t rock it! A gorgeous faux fur jacket could dress it up beautifully, or a fitted leather jacket would give it some edge. Tinsley Radix has some of their best styles on sale on the site, so check it out before signing off on your Christmas list!
My sister got me into cruelty-free and vegan beauty products, and I love purchasing things that are good for my body, animals, and for the environment. I frequently share picks from The Body Shop for this reason; it’s a company I truly believe in. Not only are the products made with natural ingredients and money donated to wildlife causes, but they work. Their holiday collection is out, and you have to see the Down to Earth Eyeshadow Quad Gold with 4 gorgoeus neutral eyeshadows….it’s spectacular! I also mixed these colors with the Down to Earth Eyeshadow Quad in Black for a more dramatic effect on my eyes. I’m also a HUGE fan of the Honey Bronze Drops of Sun bronzer. You just add 1 drop to your moisturizer for that summer glow or add 1 drop to your foundation to enhance or mimic a tan. For darker color, increase the number of drops to gradually build your tan.
Keeping with the vegan theme, I am smitten with Trust Fund Beauty. Aren’t these nail colors so pretty? They aren’t the typical colors you see on store shelves, and the names of the polishes are super cute. (Pictured is Zero Carbs and No Filter!) But the best part about this brand is that it’s cruelty-free and vegan, making it a healthy choice for you and animals everywhere. In fact, here’s a line from their website: “If you are looking to minimize the toxic content you are exposed to and you believe you can be beautiful without being cruel, we are the indie cosmetics company for you.” They have other beauty products that I can’t wait to try, but I love the polishes. If you’re looking for an adorable stocking stuffer and some of the best nail colors out there, Trust Fund Beauty is my recommendation! (Career Socialite and Squad Goals are two other colors you should check out.)
That’s it for this week….I’m heading out of town for a girl’s trip this weekend, so I’ll circle back next week before Christmas!
